Our regular contributor, Róbert Szabó, has started to work on the history of steam mills. Steam mills were very popular after the stock exchange was founded, with nine of the top 100 companies. Their history is interesting for a number of reasons: they suffered several fires, which were reported in detail in the press of the time. In addition, some of the buildings are still standing today.
